Today was a pretty good day for Nano. I’ve finished chapter one and worked on chapter 2. I’ve cut a total of 1744 words for the day and hit 5045 on the mark for a three-day total. Not too shabby. Things are progressing well. I did pass on my first write-in today, and will go to one of the two local ones on Sunday for a hour. Time to see if my old laptop works this weekend. I didn’t do any edits today, due to a phone interview for a job, and then an one-hour online test. I did get three rejections and 1 NR. But I did score my 6th bite! Woohoo! They want a full ms. Since I’m refining Venom, I won’t send it out until 11/16. I’ve cut 34 words today and have cut a total of 234 words so far. I might put my other edits on hold, in order to score an agent, some blurbs, and send out more queries. No word from bite #2–will do a follow-up. If no word from Laurie McLean in 2 weeks, it’s a NR pass. If no word from Talcott Notch in 2 weeks, I’ll follow up after Thanksgiving.
