Like Michael BublĂ© sang, I’m feeling good. It’s a new week and a brand new fresh start for editing. In about a week or so, I’m going to try the two-week one pass revision system on Dangerous Ground first, like as in on experiment. Even though it said it doesn’t work well on word processing systems, I’m going to try it out on screen–instead of scratching out sections, I’ll highlight in blue, in case the strikethrough doesn’t work on Scrivener. Well see how it works, before I’ll try it out on Countdown to Zero in a few weeks for #Nanoedmo. Have anyone tried the two-week one revision pass system? If so, please let me know.
In other editing news, Venom’s 7′s reboot is underway and will be finished tomorrow. I’ve worked on Chain Reaction’s next 10 pages (35 done so far). Also I’ve cut 21 words in Specimen (10 pages done, 30 total) and 26 words in Double Exposure (10 pages done, 30 total). No cuts in Killer Wipeout or Web of Deceit yet–real soon. I did cut 72 words in Cave-in.
